BB27: Double Eviction Madness.
Double Eviction
Going into the Double Eviction night, tensions were running high. With only seven houseguests left, everyone knew that by the end, they’d be down to five. Vince is in the hot seat, juggling final-two alliances with both Lauren and Morgan, and it’s clear that he can’t keep both happy forever.
The first big moment: the BB Blockbuster competition. The three on the chopping block, Lauren, Keanu, and Kelley, battle it out. In a somewhat underdog move, Lauren pulls ahead and wins, saving herself from eviction. That leaves Keanu and Kelley facing the vote.
Then comes the vote: Ava votes to evict Keanu; Morgan votes to evict Kelley; Lauren votes to evict Keanu; Ashley votes to evict Kelley. Tied 2-2 (with one pending vote). Vince is forced to break the tie, and he sends Kelley packing. She leaves the house, bitter about how many of her alliances were broken…or at least exposed.
No rest for the survivors! The double-eviction moves fast. The next HOH comp is up: Morgan wins it. That shifts the power significantly. She nominates Keanu and Lauren for eviction.
Power of Veto
Power of Veto time: everyone (or nearly everyone) competes. Keanu manages to win the veto and save himself. Morgan re-nominates Ava in his place. So the final noms are Ava vs. Lauren.
When it’s time to vote in this second round, Lauren is evicted with a 2-1 vote. Vince votes to evict Ava; Ashley and Keanu vote to evict Lauren. Lauren goes, dramatically.
What really stands out from the night is how much power Morgan is accumulating. By winning HOH in that second eviction and making those nominations, she’s setting her own pace. Also, Vince’s position–wedged between loyalties–is precarious. Trying to balance relationships with Lauren and Morgan is looking more and more untenable.
Lauren’s exit is emotional, and she certainly didn’t go quietly; there are feelings of betrayal, especially from Vince’s end. Meanwhile, Ava was kind of collateral damage, dragged into the showdown when Keanu used his veto. It’s becoming obvious that if you’re not tightly aligned with the strongest player(s), your game is at risk.
All in all, this episode was a whiplash: dramatic saves, blindsides, and the speed forced by a double eviction made people move fast. With Lauren gone, the dynamics shift, especially between Morgan, Vince, Keanu, and those trying to stay in the mix. The question now is: who can pick up the pieces, and who will be the next target when there are just five left?
Stay tuned to find out!!
