Law & Order: SVU Reunion
Friday evening, Chris Meloni posted 3 photos on his Instagram page. There was one photo out of the 3 that got SVU fans excited. The caption for the photo array was,†Hangin with friends on a Friday nite.†The photo had Chris Meloni with Mariska Hargitay and Dann Florek.
OH! This photo has fans going crazy with the reunion of these three. It may not be on the NBC set. Captain Cragen left the show in Season 15, while Meloni exited the show in Season 12. The fans are loving the reconciliation of these actors. One fan commented on tMeloni’s photo, “OH MY GOD. THE OG’S! I LOVE THIS SO MUCH!†Meanwhile, another fan commented, “Welcome home, Captain Cragen! Looks like a fun Friday night.†Cragen may not be coming back, but there is something about this photo that makes it iconic, and has some fans going back to watching earlier seasons to see this iconic trio acting together.
However, there are changes coming to Season 27. One Change is that Kelly Giddish is returning as Amanda Rollins; Rollins will still be in the Intelligence Division. According to TV Line, “Mariska Hargitay (Capt. Olivia Benson), Ice-T (Sgt. Odafin Tutuola), Kevin Kane (Det. Terry Bruno) and Peter Scanavino (Assistant District Attorney Dominick ‘Sonny’ Carisi’) will be back. Deadline reported that concurrently,†Juliana Martinez and Octavio Pisano would not be returning to SVU as series regulars, and writer/executive producer Julie Martin and director/executive producer Norberto Barba would also be exiting the venerable drama.â€
SVU will be back on Thursdays starting September 25. Are you ready for the new season?
