HBOMax Launches Stephen King‘s Prequel Series It: Welcome To Derry

If you love Stephen King or his novel It, then you ought to tune into HBOMax this Fall. The prequel to the novel It, will be making its debut. The story dates back to one of the times Mike Hanlon found out about the monster known as It, but appears as the clown, Pennywise. It will go back to 27 years before Pennywise came after Bill, Mike. and the rest of the gang.

Variety described, Stephen King‘s“Welcome to Derry ” is set 27 years before the events of the two ‘It’ movies, which were adapted from Stephen King’s iconic horror novel by director Andy Muschietti. As the story goes, the murderous entity It feeds on children before hibernating for 27 years.â€

Variety reveals that “Bill Skarsgard is … Pennywise, and the ‘Welcome to Derry’ cast also includes Taylour Paige, Jovan Adepo, Chris Chalk, James Remar, Stephen Rider, Madeleine Stowe, and Rudy Mancuso.

Also, the director told Entertainment Weekly, “This is a book we love a lot, and we felt that there was still a lot of story to be covered. It’s so rich with characters and events, we thought we would do justice to the book and the fans by going back into this world.”

We are telling the stories of the interludes, writings by Mike Hanlon based on his investigation, which includes interviews. He interacts with the older people in the town. In Welcome to Derry, we touch on the usual themes that were talked about in the movie.  Friendships, loss, and the power of unified belief.
