Nicole Franzel and Victor Arroyo are about to step into a new chapter together as they have just revealed that they are expecting twins. The news arrived after they announced in August that they were pregnant with their second child, following three years of trying to add to their family. Even more surprising was when their recent scan showed there are two babies in there – twins in separate sacs with different placentas, which makes identical twins extremely unlikely.
Nicole Franzel & Victor Arroyo
Nicole first came to fans’ attention on Big Brother 18, where she competed and later won, and Victor also appeared on that season. They bonded during the show, eventually developed a friendship, and after the show, they started dating. In 2018, Victor proposed to Nicole in a memorable moment during a Big Brother 20 visit to the house, which was captured on camera.
They tied the knot on March 16, 2021, in a small ceremony in Orange Lake, Florida. Shortly afterward, they welcomed their first child, a son named Victor “Arrow†Arroyo IV (nicknamed Arrow), born July 23, 2021.
Since Parenthood Life Needs Balance
Since Arrow’s arrival, Nicole and Victor have shared parts of their life – balancing parenthood, Nicole’s career, and their public life stemming from Big Brother. Nicole has spoken openly about the challenges of trying to conceive again after Arrow, about faith, and about their hopes. They waited for this new pregnancy for three years, and this time around, Nicole says pregnancy is different and more physically demanding. She has experienced earlier showing, more discomfort, including sciatica, and feels more tired compared to her first pregnancy.
With twins on the way, they have yet to discover their genders, though they sense one might be a boy and one a girl. Arrow, their now‑four‑year‑old, already seems excited — he apparently talks about sleepovers with his future siblings and even guessed there might be one brother and one sister. For both Nicole and Victor, this feels like a blessing, especially after the fertile journey they’ve had. They are grateful for the love and support from friends and family as they prepare for four instead of three.
Through their years together meeting on Big Brother, through marriage, through becoming parents, and through waiting and hoping over the years, this announcement brings a kind of culmination of many of their hopes. Twins are rare, thrilling, and clearly deeply wished for by this couple. For fans who have followed them from day one in the Big Brother house, this is another chapter full of love, surprises, and family growing in a big way.
