Petitions are not a stranger to reality shows like Big Brother. These fan views have become increasingly prevalent in recent years, particularly with the rise of reality television shows. More recently, Big Brother Canada fans started submitting them to bring back their show.
Petitions
BBUS is no stranger to them as well.
Fans have started petitions over house guests’ behavior, feeds going down too often, and Julie’s wardrobe. This season has one concerning the behavior of house guest Rylie Jeffries.
A fan is trying to get him removed from the Big Brother House over the Red Flags he is raising concerning fellow house guest Katherine Woodman. Fans are also upset with Rylie’s way of describing women in the house with his use of profanity.
Rylie developed feelings for Katherine (Kat) early on in the season. Kat tried to ignore his approaches to her, but as a 23-year-old with little life experience in these matters could not read or understand the flags raised!
Live Feeders See His Red Flags Petitions Raised
Live Feeders have seen firsthand how Rylie has used her naivety against her. He has blocked her from removing herself from his company. If Kat has spent too much time talking to the other houseguests, he has gotten angry with her. He has manipulated her into thinking she needs to apologize to him for playing her own game.
Fans have also noted that Rylie entered the house amid drama surrounding his relationship with ‘his baby mama’, who was due around the time Big Brother started. According to several online websites, the couple broke up shortly after she conceived. These sites also state that he has 2 DUI convictions.
Fans believe that Rylie is a danger to the women in the house, especially Kat, if she decides to end the relationship. Some of the reasons fans are signing the petition are as follows.
As you can see, the reasons include but are not limited to ‘Rylie thinks of Katherine as property, not as a person with a mind of her own.’ He is accused of emotional manipulation and trying to isolate her from the other houseguests. One signer believes ‘Femicide rates are on the rise when signs are ignored.
