Big Brother 27: Captain Will Is Forced To Surrender
This episode dealt with the aftermath of Rachel leaving, Morgan taking herself off the block after the BB Comics comp, with a touch of Morgan/Vince/Lauren triangle. Julie interviewed Rachel, who was surprisingly upbeat! But the main event was the Big Brother Block Buster competition, followed by the live vote and eviction.
To recap, our competitors this evening were comp beast Keanu Soto, strategist Ashley Hollis, and fan favorite Will Williams. Whoever is evicted tonight will become the second jury member.
Tonight’s comp was Feeling Knotty, where each person has a rope tied around their waist that has been wrapped and knotted around a cage. Each houseguest has to maneuver his/her way around the cage to release enough rope to make it across the room and place a key into his/her podium, thus winning the competition and coming off the chopping block.
All three players put forth their best effort, but in the end, it was Keanu who came off the block. Will, who was dealing with a knee injury, dropped to the floor in fatigue and frustration after Keanu won.
Moving straight into the vote and eviction, Ashley and Will were both emotional as they gave their final speeches. But in the end, it was Will who was voted out. Â The votes to evict were: Keanu voted to evict Will; Ava voted to evict Ashley; Morgan voted for Will; Kelley voted for Ashley; Vince voted for Will.
His exit was quite emotional, with Will and the remainder of the players breaking down in tears saying ‘goodbye’ to the lovable father figure. A post on BlueSky just reminded me that a veteran was evicted on 9/11, which makes this writer even more sad. Another poster said that the White Locust week should have just been Jankie again and had the houseguests live outside for a week.
Over on Reddit, this comment was made as to why Will was evicted: “Ashley’s more valuable in a social game to their side of the house. Will is loved by all but as a Big Brother player didn’t bring a lot of value to the end game. No one would be safe on the block next to him and watching him on feeds, he has no fight left.â€
Love it or not, the Big Brother 27 game is inching closer to the end. How do you think next week pans out?
