BB27 Veto Ceremony Ends In Drama
The episode opened right after HOH Vince’s nomination ceremony, where he dropped a shocker on the house: instead of the usual two nominees, he’d placed three: Ashley, Amy, and Zae on the chopping block.
Ashley’s nomination was the talk of the house thanks to “Showergate,†where she’d used Vince’s private bathroom for an epic two-hour shower, stirring plenty of mistrust.
Veto Ceremony
Tensions flared when Ashley, hurt and teary-eyed, confronted Vince. He insisted he nominated her because he couldn’t trust her, not just because of one lengthy shower, but she wasn’t buying it, watching her unravel while feeling betrayed made for some real emotional TV.
In her confessional, Vince admitted he had no intention of saving Ashley, even pretending to plan to use the Veto on her just to keep her off guard. On the other hand, both Amy and Zae handled their nominations calmly, which impressed Vince. He was especially impressed by Zae, whose measured reaction made him see Ashley as the real target.
Adding complexity to the nomination fallout, we saw alliances start to form. Rachel Reilly was busy rallying around Amy, forming what some are calling “Mom‑Squad 2.0,†while Jimmy, Zach, Morgan, Rylie, Vince, and Rachel quietly assembled “The Heavy Hitters†alliance in the boxing room at midnight. But cracks were already emerging! Some members weren’t pledging to use the Veto to protect Vince’s noms, which left Vince sweating his control over the alliance.
Meanwhile, showmance sparks flew as Lauren and Zach bonded over mutual fears of showmances. They decided to stay friends… for now! And in the kitchen, Keanu’s relentless “wherever Ava goes, I go†early-game pursuit started to annoy her—and honestly, low-key reminded us all: this is Big Brother—privacy? What’s that?!
The episode’s centerpiece was the Power of Veto competition, which turned the backyard into a gross crime scene, complete with foot and tire prints, smells, and an outhouse stall to sift through. The stakes were high for all three nominees. Tension built as Vince prayed nobody would use the Veto, but of course, that’s not how hero arcs end in reality TV.
Plot twist
Plot twist! Ashley pulled off the win, somehow turning “Showergate†into her moment, and saved herself! Cue Vince, who was left scrambling to name a new third nominee.
Kelley, Vince’s final‑two ally, volunteered to be the pawn. She was ready to go up just to prove loyalty, but that pawn option still raised eyebrows.
Rounding out the episode, chaos reigned. Jimmy’s push to put Keanu up leaked, Rachel busted him, and the Heavy Hitters alliance looked shaky as ever.
Bottom line: Episode 3 of BB27 gave us heavy emotions, shifting alliances, sizzling strategic moves, and, of course, the moment of redemption we didn’t see coming. With Ashley off the block and Kelley on hold as the pawn, the game feels even more unpredictable. Who’ll be the next to go? We’re just getting started!
