BB27: Tears Flow and Alliances are Threatened
Tears
This episode, whimsically dubbed “The House of Tears,†picks up moments after Rylie’s emotional eviction, and the house is drowning in paranoia, remorse, and confusion. Katherine is shaken, admitting that she now has to watch her back at all times.
The evening kicked off with plenty of crying, hugs, and heavy emotional exchanges as houseguests like Mickey and Kelley wrestled with their responsibility in sending Rylie home, and Keanu confessed to feeling like he’d lost his best friend in the game. Ava was blaming herself for being manipulated by Rachel and breaking down when Vince offered comfort. His attempt to console her fell flat, and he admitted he felt like he’d “done their dirty work†and now had no real allies left.
As the emotional cleanup concluded, CBS rolled into the iconic Wall competition for Head of Household. Houseguests clung to a tilting, slippery wall while being drenched with water, slime, and chaos. The first three to fall…Ashley, Will, and Morgan…became the Have-Nots for the week. Mickey and Ava fell shortly after, then Kelley, Keanu, and Lauren, leaving just Vince and Katherine battling it out. After a nail-biting showdown, Vince emerged victorious, earning the HOH title and a much-needed reprieve from the mounting mistrust he’d built up.
Vince
Once Vince had the crown, the real turmoil began. Keanu was first to approach, recommending Rachel as a bold nomination play. He cited back-door alliance threats and concerns about her Final Two sway. Vince didn’t immediately shoot it down. From there, the options exploded: nominations. Mickey and Ava were floated, with “The Judges†alliance scrambling to protect their corners. Ultimately, Vince nominated Ava, Mickey, and Kelley as the week’s targets, while firmly telling Lauren and Katherine they were safe–for now. But he kept the threat of a backdoor nomination for Rachel alive if things got messy.
All in all, Sunday’s episode was a masterclass in raw emotion and power chaos. Vince’s HOH win puts him at the center of the game’s storm: straddling alliances and walking a strategic tightrope. With nominations now set, everyone’s scrambling for safety. Setting the stage for a volatile week of shifting allegiances and brewing backdoor drama.
