The episode opened on the fallout from last night’s Power of Veto ceremony. HoH Vince had nominated three houseguests: Ashley, Amy, and Zae. After a dramatic veto comp, set in a smelly backyard “crime sceneâ€, Ashley snagged the Veto and removed herself. Unsurprisingly, Vince replaced her with Kelley, his closest ally, making the final nominees Kelley, Amy, and Zae.

Meanwhile, alliances solidified off-block. Amy, the target this week, leaned on a nascent “Mom Squad†with vet Rachel Reilly and Morgan, venting heartbreak and fear. Across the house, Jimmy delivered a fiery speech at the Veto meeting, accusing Keanu of being “the true snake,†re-igniting house rivalries. Over by the pool, Jimmy and Keanu patched things up…momentarily…but kept their eyes set on each other’s emergence in the game.

Zae

New alliances sprang up everywhere. Zae rallied Will, Vince, Zach, and Rylie to form “The Burger Boys†(or “Heavy Hitters†per some feeds), touting it as a final-five styled power move. Rachel, however, quietly positioned herself at the center, plotting to peel off allies from within to help her and Amy’s agenda.

Add in some awkwardness! Jimmy confronts Kelley about some “out of pocket†comments she’s been making. We see a montage of Kelley awkwardly hugging Jimmy and Keanu as they had their post-Veto conversation, and mentioning Zach’s $10,000 win, among other weird interactions.

Then came the highlight: BB Blockbuster, the season’s version of the eviction drama. Kelley, volunteering as a pawn, stepped up and dominated the scramble-play, earning her safety and nixing her name from the block. It was a calculated risk that paid off.

Amy addresses her fellow houseguests

In their pre-eviction speeches, Amy addresses her fellow houseguests. She says that Zae is more of a physical competitor than she is, and emphasizes how honest and open she is…but did Amy forget about the whole “accomplice†thing that quickly?!

Zae focuses on a vote for Amy as ultimately being another vote for Rachel. He tells everyone that he will try to take out Rachel if he stays. Zae also says that anyone who votes for him will be safe if he wins the next Head of Household competition. But I’m not sure how he plans to do that and still have people on the block!

Eviction night hit the heartstrings hard. With Kelley’s shoes saved, all eyes turned to Amy vs. Zae. In a tight, emotional vote, the house collectively decided: Zae would be the first to exit. The vote was 9–5, and as Zae exited, some houseguests, especially Zach, teared up over losing an ally.

Tonight’s episode packed a serious punch: from Vince’s manipulative gameplay to alliance realignments! With Zae gone, the house shifts. Amy and Kelley are safer temporarily, but the game’s early tremors suggest power could shift again fast.

As tensions settle, expect next week’s HOH comp to hit hard, especially with showmance intrigue and social politics bubbling! Tonight proved how quickly power changes in Big Brother’s first week, and that’s just how the game gets rolling!
