The Big Brother 27 house just hit DEFCON 1. After what should’ve been a routine Veto ceremony, the game got flipped upside down when Lauren made a jaw-dropping move that sent her alliance into chaos, especially Ava, who is now seeing red. Lauren’s decision to renom Adrian, a loyal ally and one of Ava’s closest allies in the house, has sent shockwaves through the game and cracked the once-solid foundation of their alliance wide open.

Up until now, the core six—Ava, Lauren, Adrian, Will, Zach, and Vince—seemed rock solid. They had a name (The Bond), a plan, and a promise to ride it out to the jury. But that all changed the second Lauren stood up at the Veto ceremony and put Adrian on the block. The looks on everyone’s faces said it all. Katherine looked stunned. And Ava? Her jaw practically hit the floor.

Immediately after the ceremony, Ava pulled Lauren into the bathroom for what she called a “private talk,†though everyone within three rooms could hear the argument. “You went against everything we agreed on,†Ava said, clearly furious. “You went rogue. You blindsided all of us, and for what?†Lauren, calm but defensive, insisted that Adrian had been “talking too much†with the other side and was potentially planning a flip. “I did what I had to do to protect us,†she said, but Ava wasn’t having it.
