What makes the situation even more fascinating is that Devens appears to recognize just how shaky the Crossover Alliance has become. He is reportedly worried that Barrett Pfeiffer could flip against the Icons and make a major move if Devens loses the BB Blockbuster.
Barrett, meanwhile, has been discussing the possibility of finally turning against the alliance that once appeared to offer him safety. Social-media discussion surrounding the feeds has focused heavily on his changing attitude, particularly after previous tensions involving the Icons.
One report noted that Barrett made it clear to Yash and Melody that he wanted to work with them and could support getting Devens out if the opportunity presented itself. Barrett’s potential flip would be a dramatic turning point because he has spent much of the season balancing relationships with multiple sides of the house.
The situation gets even more explosive when considering what Angela and Dee have reportedly discussed behind the scenes.
In a surprising development, Angela considered voting Devens out. At the same time, Dee appeared interested in helping the vote move in that direction without necessarily putting her own vote directly against her closest ally.
