The Voice

The Voice, November 17, 2025, Season 28, the Knockout Rounds continued. Complete with high emotion, big decisions, and one unforgettable “Mic Drop†moment from coach Reba McEntire. The coaches, Reba, Michael Bublé, Niall Horan, and Snoop Dogg, watched as their artists went head-to-head in sing-off battles, songs in hand, hoping to secure a coveted spot in the Playoffs.

Team Reba opened things up with Aaron Nichols going up against Cori Kennedy. Aaron sang “Hurricane†by the Band of Heathens, pouring passion into every note, while Cori delivered a stirring version of Lady Gaga’s “You and I.†After a tough call, Reba picked Aaron Nichols to move forward. She also used her one and only Mic Drop, a brand-new twist this season on him. Declaring that she believed he had a real shot to shine at the Rose Parade. Cori Kennedy, despite a strong performance, was eliminated.

Team Snoop

Next was Team Snoop, with Carolina Rodriguez facing off against Mindy Miller. Carolina performed “Lovesong†(the Adele version of The Cure classic), while Mindy went with “In Color†by Jamey Johnson. Snoop made the call in favor of Mindy Miller, applauding her maturity, control, and emotional depth.

Then came the knockout that really set the spotlight on Michael Bublé’s team: Jazz McKenzie sang Smokey Robinson’s smooth classic “Cruisin’â€, while her competitor Teo Ramdel rocked out with Bon Jovi’s “It’s My Life.†Jazz delivered such a soulful, polished performance that Bublé couldn’t let her go. He chose Jazz McKenzie to advance to his Playoff team.

Throughout the episode, the coaches went all in: with this knockout format, there are no more saves or steals. What you do onstage is what counts. That rule raises the stakes , and means every decision is final. To add something fresh, every coach has one Mic Drop to hand out to an artist they think has real “star†potential; those who earn it will go before America for a chance to perform at the Rose Parade.

Aaron Nichols

With Aaron Nichols earning Reba’s Mic Drop, his powerful “Hurricane†performance, she said, “knows his laneâ€, and she trusts him. Bublé, meanwhile, was visibly moved watching Jazz’s “Cruisin’,†calling her “one of the greatest singers I’ve heard in a long time.â€
