BB27: Winners, Shade, and Relationships and After-Show Mayhem

Winners

Over the weeks since Big Brother 27 wrapped, several former houseguests have offered glimpses into what life looks like now outside the house—and it’s been anything but quiet. The cast has split in many directions: relationship reckonings, media gigs, fans digging into every move, and some pointed reflections. Let’s dish!

One of the most talked-about

One of the most talked-about moments has been Ashley Hollis’s defense of her win and her final jury pitch. In an Entertainment Weekly interview, she said she framed her closing speech around the idea that “a Big Brother winner is someone who turns their enemies into allies, not their allies into enemies.†She also admitted she intentionally threw one competition to avoid being seen as too threatening in the midgame. (No chance of that in this writer’s opinion!) In a separate post-finale interview, Ashley addressed critics bluntly:

“To the naysayers, I would like to argue I didn’t need to win competitions because I wasn’t a threat in the house… And that wasn’t because of my lack of competition skills. That was because of my social game.†She also confessed that Vince’s final speech was a weakness: “His speech … yikes.â€

Morgan Pope

Morgan Pope, finishing in third place, has had her own reflections that hint at both pride and regret. In a Parade exit interview, she called her final HOH loss bittersweet: “I knew that in order for me to win this game, I was going to have to win it out. And when I lost that final HoH, I just knew.â€

Morgan addressed speculation about her relationship with Vince—insisting it was platonic and game-driven rather than romantic.

Morgan clearly sees her gameplay as strong, but the sting of the finale lingers.

Then there’s Vince Panaro, the runner-up, whose emotional breakdown in the finale (and commentary afterward) continues to fuel conversation. In his Gold Derby interview, when asked about his relationship with Morgan and how that played in jury perception, he pushed back: “At no point was crying a strategy…â€

He also commented on how talking about Morgan in the jury phase might have hurt him, intimating that it undercut his own independent positioning in the game. He further clarified in other interviews that although his emotional moments were real (to him), he acknowledged they may have backfired in how jury members perceived his control and game strength.

Keanu Soto

Then there’s Keanu Soto, who earned America’s Favorite Player. In his postgame interview, he reflected on why fans connected with him and how he hopes that support translates beyond the show. His role might shift more to advocacy or commentary now, rather than full competition, judging by how he framed things.

One of the more eyebrow-raising updates centers on Rylie Jefferies and Katherine Woodman. During the finale, they confirmed their relationship—despite public backlash over their power dynamics and Rylie’s past behavior. Fans have been vocal, questioning the narrative, but the two reportedly reunited at his Oklahoma ranch and are trying to push forward amid criticism.

Since leaving the Big Brother 27 house, Lauren Domingue and Zach Cornell have kept fans guessing about whether their flirty alliance has turned into something real. Both have spoken warmly about each other in interviews—Zach told Men’s Journal he’s “one hundred percent†interested in dating her and even plans to visit her in Louisiana, while Lauren admitted she “really cared†for Zach but didn’t want a showmance to hurt her game. For now, it seems their connection sits somewhere between unfinished business and a potential post-show spark still waiting to ignite.

In the end, the Big Brother 27 cast hasn’t exactly gone quiet. Their postgame interviews and social posts feel like an unscripted sequel—Ashley defending her win, Vince seeking redemption, and Morgan reflecting with grace. Fans are still dissecting every move, proving the game doesn’t stop when the feeds do. The finale might be over, but the drama clearly isn’t.
