Mastermind Twist sends the house into a tailspin

Feeds return after more than a 24-hour blackout.

Because of this, Live Feeders are left with several questions. Who was evicted? What was the Twist? Who is the new HOH? The answer to the first question is learned fairly quickly. Lauren is the new HOH.

Mastermind Twist

After a 60-day run of never hitting the block, even while being the biggest target in the house, Rachel becomes the first member of the jury for the season. From conversations pieced together from around the house, the competition sounded similar to ‘The Circle of Trust’ comp.

Because Rachel had no chance to play in a VETO Competition, or a Blockbuster competition to try and win her safety, some fans hope for a Battle back. With time becoming short in the season, this option seems highly unlikely.

Ava mentioned to Lauren, who is the new HOH, that Rachel wanted her to pick Rachel first, but Ava didn’t think that move would be good for her game. She told Lauren, “Because I knew Ashley would always be Rachel’s number one, not me.”

Lauren and Ava discuss the nominations. Because the nominations were made before feeds returned. We learn that Lauren placed Ashley, Will, and Morgan on the block. Her number one target is Morgan, with Keanu as a backup plan.

In other parts of the house, Keanu is seen talking to the cameras, saying, “I wanted to beat you, not these people.” It is assumed that he is referring to Rachel. In the backyard, Ashley and Morgan are talking, with Ashley saying, ” Because my number one is gone, and I’m on the block. I need to win VETO tomorrow.”

There is  a lot on the line tomorrow with the VETO Competition set to play out. Who wins will set the tone for the rest of the week. Will Lauren be able to make a direct decision without tears and self-doubt? Time will tell.
