Sia Hughley, Survivor 48, defends her game
Saiounia played a swift and somewhat aggressive game from when her foot hit the beach. She also has a very diverse personality. As she openly admits, you either love her or hate her; there is no in-between.
Sia Hughley
On her last Tribal Council, she admits to not being as confident as she was at past Tribal Councils. Wanting to get her hands dirty, she approached her tribe mates she wanted to play the game with. Her approach was often met with a standoffish response.
She admits it was frustrating at times. Sia does not feel her game was aggressive but feels she played a strong game and a hard game. Her game has been compared to old-school Survivor. Saiounia states, “I love the old-school players.”
“No, I’m playing. We’re forgetting that all the people I targeted targeted me first. I reciprocated that energy; I meet you where you’re at. If you are going to target me, I’m going to come after you.” Sia said.
Sia Hughley Talks Relationship With Mary
On her relationship with Mary. Sia stated, “Mary and I had a long conversation that didn’t air; we squashed our beef…She was telling me with bonus clarity that she was protecting me and all these other things I wasn’t privy to.”
On asked what she would say to the haters, Saiounia said, “Honestly, to me, if you play with the clowns, you become part of the circus. I genuinely could care less what clowns have to say. I’m playing the game you WISH you could play, Baby!
I loved every moment of it. This comes from my heart; when people say things about me, I don’t care.”
Sai agrees with fellow castaway Shaulin description of her. His take on Sai was she doesn’t do “niceties” and she’s not “face fake”. Survivor 48 has now entered the jury stage of the game. Saiounia was the last person voted out of the game before the jury.
Survivor airs on CBS and Paramount Plus on Wednesdays 8 PM ET.
