Andy Cohen agrees with nixing the Vanderpump Rules cast.
As the face of Bravo Andy recently weighed in on the move by Bravo executives to recast the cast of Vanderpump Rules. Although he has no direct link to the show other than hosting the reunion show; he is the executive producer of the Real Housewives Franchise.

Cohen opened up about the drama on Vanderpump Rules on his podcast ‘Andy Cohen Live’
. Most of the original cast no longer works at Lisa Vanderpump’s ‘SUR Restaurant & Bar’. After eleven seasons it is time to move on or back to Lisa’s actual employees.
Noting cast members like Tom Sandoval, Ariana Madix and Scheana Shay have been mainstays for the show. Most have moved on to ‘The Valley’. Also some of the original cast don’t want to be in the same room nevermind the same show.
Saying “I am so impressed with how production kept the show going over the last … four years when slowly, but surely, none of them were working at ‘SUR’. The entire point of the show morphed and changed as it went on.”
Andy Cohen Justifies His View
Continuing “What you were left with was really a few little pieces of what the original Vanderpump Rules was.” He feels the reboot was a very smart move on Bravo’s part. Not stopping there he compared it to another Bravo show.
As far as Real Housewives of New York (RHONY) goes, he acknowledged its successful thirteen season , but stated”sometimes for a show it’s the end of the road, or its time to swerve or pivot… that’s where we were with RHONY and that’s where Vanderpump Rules is now.”
Season 12 of Vanderpump Rules is set to begin production in 2025 focusing on a close-knit group of new ‘SUR-vers. The show will air on Bravo. You can stream all past seasons of Vanderpump Rules on Netflix, Amazon Prime and Fubo TV.
