Season 8 of The Real Housewives of Potomac is right around the corner, the premier is Sunday, November 5th on Bravo TV. The drama is set to begin when a new housewife joins the group; Nneka Ihim is not afraid to get started with these ladies. Nneka’s tagline is intriguing, “Nigeria raised me, L.A. made me, and Potomac will remember me.” Look out, that’s quite the introduction for a newbie.
OG Gizelle Bryant’s tagline for this season reads “I’m no angel. But gimme some grace, and you’ll learn to adore me,” Now that sounds like one confident woman, hopefully, the group will mesh. Has Gizelle softened her attitude?
Ashley Darby reveals “You don’t have to dig for gold when you shine this bright.” Snap! Ashley sounds more confident this season, hopefully, she and her husband Michael, or her ex-husband have ironed things out and are in a happier place this year along with business, homes, and children.
Newlywed Robyn Dixon’s tagline says that “I just took a DNA test, and it turns out, I one hundred percent don’t care.” That’s great and maybe that will hold true for Robyn, she has her man is doing well in business and has started down a new path with her true love.
Sounds like she is not playing this season. Watch out!
On the other hand, Candiace Dillard Bassett says, “When they go low, I just hit high notes.” Candiace’s singing career has taken off and is doing better than ever. Hopefully, this season Candiace and Ashley will have a better relationship with each other. That would be nice especially if Candiace gets pregnant this season, she could use someone to talk to that’s close in age with young children.
Housewife Wendy Osefo says in her tagline “If you’re going to test this professor, be prepared to fail.” Another confident housewife who will not be taking any grief from anyone this year. Wendy is well-educated and is also a smart businesswoman.
Mia Thornton meanwhile is having problems with her marriage and reportedly has separated from her husband. Mia’s tagline says “It doesn’t matter the size of our home. I’m always the queen of this castle,” Mia and her family have reportedly moved from their larger home into a more comfortable one.
The “Grand Dame” Karen Huger has a more serious tagline that says “I don’t ride the fence, honey. I am the fence. You ride me.” Sounds like The Housewives mean business this season and I for one am not going to miss a single episode. Bravo released a tweet that read “No cryangle needed– the #RHOP taglines have arrived,” Saddle up.
