TLC Sister Wives Janelle Brown Does Not Say Divorced

TLC’s reality show “Sister Wives” has attracted audiences with its portrayal of a unique polygamous family, led by Kody Brown, who was married to four different women at the same time. Among the wives, Janelle Brown stood out for her unwavering commitment to her marriage, despite the challenges that came with sharing a husband. In recent episodes, rumors have circulated about Janelle’s marital status, suggesting that she is divorced from Kody. However, Janelle herself has vehemently denied these claims. Why? Because she was “never legally married”. When questioned about her current marital status, she simply says that she is “single” or that her and her “partner” are no longer together.

Janelle Brown has been a pillar of strength within the Brown family since the show’s inception. Her dedication to her marriage and her role as a wife and mother is evident in every episode. She has always been open about the difficulties of polygamy but remains steadfast in her commitment to this lifestyle. She does say that she is open to another plural marriage…..Maybe 10 years down the road. She likes the freedom and independence this lifestyle brings to her. Although, she teases and says that “there are not many men that can pull it off”.

Instagram followers are rallying around Janelle and her decision. The consensus is that over the years Janelle has bloomed. One follower even used the term “Glowed Up” referring to her coming into her own. Although Janelle has always been one of the most independent of the wives, we have seen her transform through the show and the many family moves.

Despite the Kody and Janelle “marriage” ending, Janelle continues to be an integral part of “Sister Wives,” standing by her belief in plural marriage and the lifestyle she enjoys. Her unwavering commitment serves as an inspiration for viewers who may face their own relationship challenges. I am confident that Janelle will be fine on her own, in a future polygamist marriage or a monogamous one. She has endured and fought to have the lifestyle she has chosen. I wish her much success and I am sure she will find someone who can “pull it off”.
