Chuck Norris Dies at Age 86.

Martial arts and acting legend Chuck Norris has died. His family announced his death on his official Instagram account on Friday morning.

His family wrote, “It is with heavy hearts that our family shares the sudden passing of our beloved Chuck Norris yesterday morning.”

Norris was in the United States Air Force. He enlisted in 1958 as an Air Policeman. Stationed at Osan Air Base in South Korea, he discovered Tang Soo Do and earned the nickname “Chuck,” setting him on a path that would define the rest of his life.

Chuck Norris became an iconic action star and led the hit series “Walker, Texas Ranger”. He had a degree of credibility that most others could not match. He appeared opposite the legendary Bruce Lee in 1972 film “The Way of the Dragon” (aka “Return of the Dragon”).

Norris starred in many films, including “The Delta Force,” “Missing in Action,” “Good Guys Wear Black,” “The Octagon,” “Lone Wolf McQuade,” “Code of Silence,” and “Firewalker.”

Norris is survived by his wife, Gena O’Kelley. Two sons, Eric and Mike; three daughters, Dakota, Danilee, and Dina; and several grandchildren.
