What Is the Survivor 50 Prize?

Survivor 50 is almost here, and CBS is pulling out all the stops ahead of the milestone premiere on February 25, 2026.

As part of the celebration, CBS is hosting a nationwide Survivor 50 Idol Hunt, with a contest taking place in every U.S. state. Fans who successfully find an idol will earn a special prize tied to the anniversary season.

“Survivor has always been about testing yourself. Solving problems, facing the unknown and finding out what you’re made of,” Probst said in a statement. We’re now allowing fans to test it out for themselves with the Survivor Challenge. For decades, America has witnessed athletes outsmart, outplay, and outlast; now it’s your chance.”

To enter, visit survivor50challenge.com and sign up using your email address. From there, you’ll receive clues specific to your state. The contest officially begins on January 30, though not all states will launch at the same time.

According to the official contest rules, winners will receive a trip to Los Angeles for a special event taking place from May 19 to 21. Although CBS hasn’t confirmed the details, many fans speculate this could be connected to the Survivor 50 reunion show.

Through the Survivor 50 Digital Hub, fans can register for notifications and state-specific hints at Survivor50Challenge.com. Additionally, Participants must use the digital hub to upload a photo of themselves wearing an idol in order to be eligible for the grand prize sweepstakes. Subject to official regulations, an additional winner will be chosen via an online component. Information regarding the main prize will be released shortly.
