Married At First Sight is a reality television show that features singles who are matched sight unseen for marriage. Beth and Jamie Thompson met at the altar and married each other on MAFS season 9.

The couple have since divorced.
Since the divorce talks of what happened during their marriage are starting to surface, and tea has been spilled. Brice, recently, did an Instagram Live where she spilled the tea on her marriage breakup. Beth claimed that Jamie Thompson gave her 2 black eyes.
Jamie has yet to respond to these allegations of spousal abuse. During her Instagram Q&A, she promised to open up about her abusive marriage. She wants to help protect other women from heading down the same road.
With the divorce recently finalized, Beth has been searching for her voice to tell the world what happened during her marriage to Jamie Thompson. Statistics show women in abusive relationships have a hard time building up the courage to leave.
Beth admitted to paying $60,000 US to finally break the ties that bound her to her ex Jamie. She said, “It will cost that much for me to tell my story.” Sources feel that statement was made to diffuse the statement over spousal abuse.
As with most abused women, she has lost her trust in men in general. Admitting to living the real ‘Will and Grace’ storyline. She has surrounded herself with an army of gay men. Beth claims they are showing her how ‘real men’ treat a woman.
Jamie for his part has not addressed the abuse allegations. In April 2023 he posted about their separation; a few months later he announced their divorce. At the time he said, “Their marriage had reached a point of no return.”
