MAFS host gets real with Ikecki at After Party
Married at First Sight is a reality television show about couples who agree to get married when they first meet. The show has been on for eighteen seasons. This has contributed to its popularity with reality television fans.
To explain further how the show works; in its eighteen seasons, there have been 69 couples matched. 38 couples chose to get married on Decision Day. Two-thirds of those couples have since filed for divorce, announced their divorce or are divorced.

Ikecki Ojore and Emem Obot are one couple from season 18.
After returning from their honeymoon their marriage started down a slippery slope nearly reaching the bottom of the hill. Because Ikecki took every opportunity to berate his wife. He has called her an as***le and accused her of being aggressive.
Ikecki Continues Berating Wife At MAFS Group Dinner
During a group dinner to celebrate one month of marriage. Ikecki, who arrived late, proceeded to tell the others his wife made him feel like s**t. He took every opportunity to call her out or put her down. So the other couples defended Emem saying he was insulting and hostile.
Recently at the After Party host Keshia Knight Pullian tried to talk some sense into him. By pointing out he never gives direct answers to questions asked. Instead, he calls his wife aggressive for asking questions.
As he found himself in the hot seat at the After Party, Keshia tried getting some real answers from him. In what has become Ikecki true fashion, he continues to belittle Emem. He continues to refuse to give Keshia a direct answer.
Once Keshia decided enough was enough she gave him her observation. By commenting “I know a lot of times you may feel like you are giving a direct answer. But, my friend you don’t a lot of times when someone like I just did.
Host Tries To Explain Her Point
Continuing she concluded: “I’ll ask you a very, very specific question, and instead of answering the question asked of you. You answer the question you want to answer.” After finally hearing what the host said he admitted he would get aggravated over that as well.
In answer to Keshia’s question, Ikecki said “It was more a culmination of things so many adding up. It was more ‘Hey, I need some time and space, and her not respecting that time and space.’ She would blow my phone up.”
His treatment of his wife has put him at the center of a backlash from fans; now, it is affecting his livelihood. His poetry book which sells on Amazon. Has received several one-star ratings, and is riddled with negative comments over his behavior on the show.
After the video was posted to a social media account, fans gave Ikecki their opinions on how they truly feel about his behavior and actions. Some think he only agreed to do the show to get a free advertisement for his book of poetry,
