Kayla Nicole clears the air on Travis Kelce on Special Forces
Special Forces: The World’s Toughest Test premiered its third season on Wednesday, January 8, 2025. Travis Kelce’s ex-wife Kayla is among the celebrities appearing this season. During the two-hour premiere, she informed Alana Blanchard ( surfer) and Kyla Pratt (Disney alum) that he was her ex.

Telling them “He is dating Taylor Swift. I get a lot of s**t online because he is dating a mega-star.”
Kelce and Nicole dated on and off for five years before finally breaking up in 2022. Travis started dating Taylor Swift in the summer of 2023. Travis Kelce is the tight end for the Kansas City Chiefs Football team.
The Staff, as they are known by the celebrities vying to complete the course, call the celebrities in for interrogation during their time on the show. It should be noted The Staff are all retired Special Forces Military from various countries around the world.

During her interrogation staff pulled up an article with the headline ‘Travis Kelce’s ex tells trolls to leave her alone.’ This headline was published by the Independent at the same time Taylor Swift’s album ‘The Tortured Poets Department’ was released.
Taylor Swift fans know that this was the first album that Swift released that had tracks inspired by Travis. When the article came out Kayla tweeted “There’s just no way I can fully digest all these new albums. I’m still on ‘Cowboy Carter’.”
Still having trolls attack her due to the article she responds with “I’m unproblematic. Mind my own business. Never respond to the constant vitriol. Solid and don’t expect a pat on the back either. Just know everyone has a breaking point and would love you all to leave me alone.”
Staff Discusses Kayla Nicole’s Battle
Staff learns that she is still being dragged into Swift and Kelce’s relationship; they tell her “When social media becomes a battlefield’ they want to help her explore ways to have a better understanding of herself.”
During a confessional, Kayla Nicole tells listeners “Yeah it’s pretty consistent and exhausting. It doesn’t matter – I could post about the sky being blue and people will respond about an ex and their situation.”
Continuing “It’s inadvertently affected me to the point it makes me question my overall value as a person. It’s just like, on a loop, I think I am still trying to figure out how to deal with that.”
Meanwhile, back in the bunker, the other celebrities are asking exactly who her ex is. Golden Tate tells them “Travis is arguably the greatest of all time to play tight end.” Pratt responds “Ok we ain’t here to pump that f***er up. Let’s just say he is good.”
Returning to the bunker Nicole tells the other celebrities “They are good at putting the pieces together, to the point of me needing to prove things to myself, not other people.” Carey Hart (Motocross) replies “Well good, move forward from that.”
Special Forces: The World’s Toughest Test is a reality show that has 16 celebrities from all walks of life; including sports, television stars, movie stars, and gold medalists. There is no money awarded to those who complete the course; just the satisfaction of knowing you did it.
Special Forces airs on Fox TV on Wednesday nights. This season may be the show’s best with 3 celebrities already gone from the camp. One was booted by staff, one quit during a challenge and one for medical reasons.
