Derrick Levasseur on being a Faithful
The Traitor US 3 premiered last Thursday on Peacock. The network dropped its first three episodes, bringing with them surprises for the fans. Episode 1 saw the invited contestants refuse to allow Boston Rob Marino into the game.
In a twist, Boston Rob was not only brought into the game but came with two other fan favorites Wes Bergmann ( The Challenge) and Derrick Levasseur (Big Brother 16). Derrick was the winner of BB16. He formed a tight alliance with Cody Calafiore called ‘The Hitmen’.

Levasseur has become known as one of the best Big Brother players, along with Dr. Will, Vanessa Rousso, and others. We will next see him on Investigation Discovery (ID). Here he tackles unsolved murder cases on Breaking Homicide.
Also on ID, he was part of the docuseries Hard Evidence: Is OJ Innocent. He co-hosts two podcasts Crime Weekly with Stephanie Harlowe and The Winners Circle with Cody Calafiore. Detective Perspective is a podcast done on his own. The Undercover Edge is the book he authored.
Derrick Levasseur Uses Social Media For A Cause
Shortly after the first three episodes aired Derrick informed his fans on his social media that he had no interest in being a traitor. When asked “Did you want to be a traitor?” His response was a quick answer,
He stated 100% NO!
Explaining further to the fan “Everything I’m involved with now revolves around victim advocacy so knowing some families I have helped/will help might be watching I wanted to play as honest as I could.”
Acknowledging playing a traitor would have been the easier route to take, he also found being Faithful more challenging. He admits to enjoying challenging himself in whatever is thrown his way.
Derrick is using his Traitor platform to showcase his work with an animal shelter. He tells his fans “I want to hijack the tag for a second to share something I care about @NEHSRescue #TheTraitorsUS.
Levasseur has teamed up with ‘The Hotel For Homeless Dogs’. He said “Every week after the episode airs I am going to feature a new dog that is up for adoption and ready for their forever home. Because 3 episodes have aired I am starting with featuring 3 dogs.”
The Traitors US airs on Thursday 9 PM ET on Peacock. The episode can be streamed the next day on the Peacock App.
