Chase Lemack, Below Deck sets the record straight.
Recently on Watch What Happens Live Daisy Kelliher and Aesha Scott were asked to address the drama between co-stars Chase and Danni Warren. Daisy took the high road, stating “All I heard were rumors.”

Meanwhile, Aesha Scott decided to add her version to the rumors. On WWHL she claimed “Apparently, they were on a sailboat, and things got dark and toxic. And then they weren’t paying the sailboat repairman, so they had to flee town, and it got dark and twisted. They broke up.”
It didn’t take long for the statement to reach Lemack’s ears. Wanting to set the story straight and end the rumor once and for all; he took to his IG Stories in a couple of stories. He started by thanking his fans for their support and the Below Deck Crew for all they did for him.
With the niceties out of the way, he addressed Aesha’s statement on WWHL. “Apparently I haven’t paid people who worked on the boat, and I am running from the law. That is not the case, and I quickly want to explain it to everyone. I never really told this story.”
Chase Lemack thanks fans for support
Some fans may not have realized that Chase purchased his sailboat a few years ago. He spent time doing some of the renovations himself. Unfortunately, he is no mechanic, and the engine needed repairs. This is where the drama begins and ends.
“I wanted to pay a mechanic so it was done right, and I could watch and learn. Long story short, I paid them $32,000.” He shared on his IG Story. Adding it was way too expensive but that is what I paid.”
“After it was done, and the boat was finished, the mechanic demanded another $40,000 from me.” There was no agreement for this extra money and Lemack had receipts for what he had paid.
In today’s world, we have all learned by reading and listening that scams happen every day to innocent people. It seems Chase was a victim of a scam. The boat engine was not repaired but just painted over.
Chase said “I had been scammed. I got a lawyer. I didn’t talk about it because I was in a legal process. But I won the case.”
Like most who have been scammed, he got no money back, just the satisfaction of winning the case. The sailboat is stuck in the boatyard. It created money issues for both himself and Danni. Issues that have now been resolved.
Aesha’s Statement Is Discussed
In another IG Story Chase addressed his feelings over Aesha for adding fuel to the rumor mill. He said “I think she is so funny. And the reason she is so good at her job is because she says crazy things and spreads drama. She is the tea. That’s our job.”
“Although she is misinformed, and I am a little hurt by it. I am still a fan of Aesha’s, and I am not upset by her.” Chase, also, admits that rumors come with being on a Reality Television Show. As for what happened between him and Danni; that is a story for another day.
