Developing close ties within that first week with T’Kor Clottey and Quinn Martin; they formed the alliance ‘The Visionaries’. Both T’Kor and himself remained extremely loyal to this alliance. That is until Quinn Martin informed them of a more powerful alliance called ‘The Pentagon’.
Adding a bit of mistrust into the Visionaries Alliance, Kimo and T’Kor orchestrated and pulled off the first house flip of the season. This happened when Quinn activated his ‘Deep Fake HOH Upgrade’ during Angela’s second HOH reign. This sent Cedric packing.
The duo of Kimo and T’Kor were seen as a power couple in the early part of the game. Their social game was good, they both flew under the radar for several weeks. Knowing more numbers were needed in the game an alliance was formed with Tucker and Rubina.
This alliance kept Kimo safe from the block and on the right side of the house until Tucker was evicted during T’Kor’s HOH. Rubina, T’Kor and himself were seen as a powerful alliance within the Big Brother House.
Although not for competition wins but for their loyalty to each other. The other houseguests were also forming strong bonds. There were 2 trios and 1 duo left in the house before the Double Eviction.
Jankie World HOH Leah targeted T’Kor, leveling that trio to a duo, leaving one trio intact. During the Double Eviction the Trio Chelsie, Makensy and Cam eliminated the duo of Angela and Leah.
Rubina and Kimo found themselves as the underdogs; facing each other on the block. the block 6 times before being evicted his 7th time on the block. It was also the first time the VETO was not used this season.
Kimo Apaka sits down to talk game
As he sits down for his round of post eviction interviews, he reflected on his time in the Big Brother House. Admitting he was wrong to not approach Makensy about using the VETO on him this week; may have led to some miscommunication between them.
“I thought Makensy and I were building something, where if I said something, she would accept it as I was being real with her.” Kimo admits to losing himself this week in the game. “It’s hard sitting next to your bestie in the house”, he said.
Chelsie and I became the only two super fans left in the house during the Double Eviction, so it surprised him when she put his game in jeopardy. Thankfully he won VETO and saved himself.
Kimo feels that if Chelsie is sitting in the Final 2 chairs, she has a good chance of winning the whole thing. He states “Chelsie is playing a good social and strategic game. She will have a comfortable seat depending who has the other seat.”
Kimo talks The Block
Sitting on the block 7 times in a row is very taxing emotionally, he admits: “With perception in the Big Brother House being very important, I tried to stay positive and not be a rain cloud but it gets tiring being on the block so often in a row.”
His ideal end game would have been Rubina, T’Kor and himself as Final 3. The trio were each other Besties in the house. To him if one of the three of them happened to win he would be happy.
He stated “In the real world when one of my friends wins something we all win. Rubina is the last one standing out of this trio. It is to be seen if she can make it to the Final 2 chairs. The Final is fast approaching.
