Joseph Rodriguez (BB26) Misses Jury By A Week
He entered the house as a Big Brother self-proclaimed Superfan. Joseph played a low-key game for most of the season, admitting that he threw most of the competitions he played in and taking credit for forming the Pentagon and the Connective Alliances.
Thinking he was playing an excellent social game, he felt safe with whoever was in power. Quinn and Joseph formed a close bond in the house promising to have each other’s back. This sat well until two things happened.
The first is Joseph flipping sides during Quinn’s “Deep Fake HOH’ reign during week 4 and both having a crush on fellow housemate Leah.
He aligned himself with Tucker in week 4 staying loyal to Tucker until Tucker was evicted in Week 6.
While Angela was on the block campaigning for votes, he belittled her gameplay to the point of telling her “I can not see you staying in this game.” Meanwhile, unknown to him Leah was contemplating saving Angela from the block.
For some reason, Quinn did not learn his lesson in week 4 when he was the ‘Deep Fake HOH’ sending close ally Cedric packing. Quinn decided once Angela came down to put his next closest ally on the block Joseph.
Joseph did break ‘The Ainsley Twist Curse’, the first six houseguests sent packing all voted against Ainsley entering the game. He voted for her to play Big Brother. Julie informed him and the rest of the houseguests that the jury starts this week.
After losing the last AI Arena competition to Rubina, Joseph sat beside Kimo. With most of the houseguests telling him he had their vote to stay Joseph felt confident he would remain. He lost by a vote of 4-3.
Both Makensy and Chelsie flipped their vote, preferring to save Kimo over him. After being friend-zoned by Leah Joseph came to the game too late to save himself. After a round of eviction interviews, he had to say the following:
“As far as Angela blaming me for her being on the block; that shocked me I had nothing to do with it. Quinn put her on the block because he wanted to plus she had called him out. She put herself there.”
On Chelsie and Makensy flipping their vote, Makensy shocked him the most. He said “I was one of the few people that talked to her about the game.” Chelsie and I were playing the same sort of game so it was just a matter of time.”
Joseph had a lot to say about Quinn starting with he didn’t care for the kid. He feels that Quinn is playing a messy game as a Superfan of the show. “I didn’t understand him putting Cedric on the block nor putting me there.”
Coming clean about his Final 2 deal with Tucker was his way of telling people that he was honest. He said “I didn’t want to lie to them. I wanted to be honest.” He also felt that because Tucker rubbed so many the wrong way he could beat him in the end.
