Dr. Will Kirby passes the roundtable baton
Big Brother 2 winner, Dr. Will Kirby announced yesterday he is stepping down as host of the Big Brother Jury Roundtable this season.
The popular host has hosted the roundtable on and off since 2013.
Dr. Will Kirby
“I can confirm that I will not be serving as host of the Big Brother Roundtable this season. It’s simply time to hang up the proverbial cleats.” he said. “The run I had on the show, first as a contestant, then as a host, is practically unheard of.”
Will first appeared on reality television in 2001. He feels it is now time to pass the reality television baton. Dr. Will outlasted 11 other contestants in season two to win the title of winner BB2.
Dr. Will Kirby Creates Alliance
Along with Boogie, they created the first ever alliance in the history of the show ‘Chilltown’. Fans loved to watch the interaction between the pair. He returned to the show in Big Brother All Stars in 2006, coming in fourth.
Dr. Will admitted that the roundtable discussions are wrought with emotions. He stated “Every jury has an element of bitterness; but why would we expect otherwise? You would be bitter too if you just lost $750,000 USD.”
“The right person always wins,” Dr. Will continued, “He or she did whatever it took to get the right number of keys in the box on finale night.” When asked if he was the best to ever play the game of Big Brother, his answer is as follows:
“What other non – scripted television show cast contestants who are still relevant two decades later after their first appearance? I laid the foundation for the anti-hero game play that fans love to this day.”
Continuing he stated “I was the architect of alliances and well rounded strategic gameplay. Moreover, I provide pure unadulterated entertainment enveloped in a comedic shell. I created the word ‘Showmance’; so yes, I was the best to play.”
Who do you think will take over the host spot? Who do you want to see? Will anyone be able to fill Dr. Will Kirby’s shoes?
