Week 3 evictee Kenney Kelley talks game and home

Kenney Kelley became the latest houseguest to be evicted from the Big Brother 26 House. His game plan left houseguests and fans wondering why he was in the house to start with.

Week 3 Evictee

He was a long time fan of the show. In fact he credits Big Brother with helping him and his wife bond. During his interview with Julie Chen Moonves we heard he has applied for at least the last 5 years along with his wife.

Matt and Kenney became very close during the first couple of days in the house. They bonded over the fact that Matt’s dad was a veteran and a police officer. Kenney credits Matt with helping him get over the missing his family blues that first week.

He sat down to do a series of interviews about his housemates, the game and of course home.

Here are some of the things he wanted us to know.

First and foremost fans wanted to know what he whispered in T’Kor’s ear before the vote. He stated he never got to bond with her. I told her “I hoped she did well in the game. I also said to do what was right for the game.”

Week 3 Evictee missed Home Before Entering House

Kenney stated he missed home even before getting on the plane to come to California to play. Apparently his 8 year old daughter would not give him a hug before boarding the plane. He stated she didn’t want him to go.

This played on his mind before entering the house, as well as, when he was in the house. When he first entered the house his mind did go into game mode. He wanted to be another Derrick (BB16).

His strategy was to align with a strong social player, who could also do well in comps. He thought he had that in Matt. Matt was far too social according to Kenney stating “He talked to everyone.”

Once Matt was evicted; he turned to Cedric. Cedric was young, athletic and HOH. They bonded when Cedric told him he was ex-Marine Core. Kenney told him he was an undercover cop for the local DEA.

When asked to explain his on again off again feelings over the game and being there he stated “There is a lot of downtime in that house. I don’t think people realize that. You go fast for 3 or 4 days with HOH, Noms, VETO Comp, and VETO Ceremony.”

Continuing “On the downside once you finish those days your mind goes to family, friends and life outside the Big Brother House. That was when I missed my family the most.” Kenney acknowledged there are a lot of alliances in the house right now but none are really strong.
