The Circle 7 has a premiere date!!

Last season The Circle moved to the US from the UK. Although it is the 7th season of this Netflix hit Reality Show, it is only the 2nd season filmed on US soil.

Netflix announced the renewal of this reality show back in November 2023. In fact the announcement was for both season 6 and 7.

The Circle 7 had in fact already been taped before the announcement of its renewal was announced. No air dates were given at that time.

Netflix has  decided to announce the premiere date will be Wednesday September 11th. It’s  assumed that episodes will drop as they have in the past.

Wednesday September 11 through to Wednesday September 25th will have 3 episodes drop weekly. The Finale will drop on October 2nd.

However this airing plan has worked for Netflix for all their Reality based shows in the past. Including the Finale there will be 13 episodes for season 7. Here is a promo clip of season 7.

The Circle 7 Watching Course

Never watched the show before? Here is a quick course in what to expect. The contestants are sequestered in their own apartments.

They are shut off from the outside world.

Communicating through a voice-activated platform called ‘The Circle’.

Displaying themselves to others through profile pictures.

The pictures can be of themselves now, or earlier in life; as well as someone else entirely. This is known as catfishing.

Contestants are asked to rank each other based on group chats, private chats and profile pictures. The highest ranking top 2 are called ‘Influencers’.

The Influencers meet in ‘The Hangout’ where they chat through the Circle to block one of the other contestants. This contestant is blocked, but allowed to have a person to person meeting with another.

When down to the Final 4 or 5 players there is one more ranking. The contestants get to meet each other face to face at this point. The highest ranking contestant is declared the winner.
