Pawns go home! Cedric Hodges Exit Interview

Cedric Hodges was the youngest houseguest to play Big Brother this season. This 21 year old ex-marine wore his heart on his sleeve; from comforting Angela in weeks one and two; to inviting live feeders and fans to send him questions and dog him.

He started the first week out with a downgrade. This downgrade meant he became Ainsley’s mascot, along with Chelsie. Although he could be nominated for eviction that week; he could not play in the VETO Competition or the HOH Competition.

Although Cedric belonged to several alliances his loyalty was to ‘The Pentagon Alliance’ first and ‘The Collective Alliance’ second. He won HOH week 3; not wanting to get blood on his hands; he stuck to house target Angela Murray.

Tucker volunteered to be the pawn that week. He won the VETO! Cedric, Tucker, Cam and Kenney formed an alliance after Tucker found out that Quinn had the upgrade ‘The Deep Fake HOH’.

Tucker removed Angela from the block, clearing the way for Cedric to put Quinn on the block. Cedric, as HOH, put Makensy on the block as the replacement nominee. This forced Makensy to use her upgrade ‘America’s VETO’.

Clear targets emerged from this move. Tucker targeted Cedric and Quinn. Quinn and Cedric targeted Tucker. After several very vocal discussions Tucker went into the AI Arena, winning once again.

Even though Angela won her second HOH in week four, Quinn held all the power.

Quinn nominated Tucker, Makensy and Cedric ( pawn) for the block. Once again Tucker won VETO. Quinn nominated Rubina as replacement nominee.

    Pawns: Makensy wins AI Arena

Makensy won the AI Arena, leaving Cedric and Rubina to face eviction. Cedric was the fourth evicted houseguest by a vote of 6-3. Julie Chen Moonves asked him if he knew who the votes were to keep him.

Cam, Brooklyn and Chelsie were the three he picked. Julie told him he was right. Cedric said “I knew I lost Kimo and T’Kor votes, I knew they were close to Rubina. I knew if I lost I would be out here with you.”

Cedric thanked CBS, Production and Julie for allowing him to play the game of Big Brother. He stated he has nothing but love for all his fellow housemates. Julie told him he was a very loving, sweet young man.
