Matt Hardeman (BB26) first evicted houseguest.
He entered the Big Brother house hoping to represent more than himself as a jock but his mother as well.

Within hours of entering the house Matt found himself on Angela Murray’s radar. Things got worse for him after Angela became the first HOH of the season.
Although she did not nominate him in her original nomination; he remained a backdoor option for her. She felt threatened by Matt during their one-on-one.
Once Lisa won VETO, Angela was able to activate her backdoor plan on Matt. At the VETO Ceremony the backdoor plan became a viable option.
The three nominees participated in the first ever AI Arena. Once Kimo won the AI Arena Comp, Matt found himself on the block next to Kenney.
Makensy Jo Manbeck (MJ) and Matt seem to be building a showmance during their time together in the house. Live Feeders watched the chemistry building between the two.
On the way out after the 8-3 vote Matt was seen whispering in Makensy’s ear. When asked by Julie what was said. Matt’s answer was simply said “I told her our story wasn’t over.”
During his on screen chat with Julie Matt also said he did not mean his words said to Angela as a threat. That he was just playing the game as he thought it should be played.
Matt did tell Angela he was sorry if she took his statement as a threat in his final plea to the houseguests to keep him.
His interview ended with Matt telling Julie “I came to play this game and try to represent something bigger.” He continued “I hope you guys got to see me, being me here; I wasn’t just telling my story but my Mom’s story as well.”
