Love Island USA couples come to Leah Katel’s defense

Love Island USA dropped its finale on Sunday July 21st, The season had its share of drama, which kept fans tuning in.

Kaylor Martin and Aaron Evans finished the season in fifth place. After the finale aired Aaron took to his social media Instagram account to announce Kaylor and him would be doing a live show.

During the Q&A session netizens heard a disparaging remark against fellow Islander Leah Katel.

“No one was going to give a f**k about Leah in 6 months” was heard while Kaylor was talking with a fan/friend.

Although Kaylor did not respond to the remark; she did nothing to shut it down. Her only response was “She is going to get a s**t ton.” Before her sentence was cut off.

Fans of ‘PPG’ (Powder Puff Girls) and Kaylor believe that the rest of the sentence she was going to defend Leah. She (Leah) seems to have become the ‘most popular’ Love Island USA contestant.

Fans are predicting that Leah will receive a massive influx of sponsorship deals; due to the massive amount of followers she received during filming.

Leah became very close with Serena Page and JaNa Craig during filming. The trio called themselves ‘PPG’. They supported each other through thick and thin the whole season.

On the podcast ‘Virtual Reali-Tea’ Serena’s response to the statement was as follows “Y’all know I don’t play about Leah. I don’t know if it is because she’s blowing up and it’s like; oh now we have all the things to say.”

Page ends her statement with “No matter what Leah doesn’t give a s**t about negative opinions Martin’s friend has to say.” All of the Islanders agree that no one is going to forget Leah in six months.

It seems that although the statement made waves on the internet; it didn’t interfere with Kaylor and Leah’s friendship. The ladies were seen having a drink together in Fiji before heading back to the USA.

The two ladies shared the post on their stories with the caption “It’s all LOVE”. JaNa stated Leah is strong and therefore unbothered by spiteful behavior.

Kenny Rodriguez warned Martin to beware of ‘PPG’ powerful fan base stating “I don’t think you can mess with ‘PPG’ . When you mess with one of them… and the Leah Nites are out there Kaylor, I don’t want to be in your boat right now.”

Fans of Love Island USA are wondering if the statement was made out of jealousy for her friend. Most thought Kaylor and Aaron would make it to the finale but ended up finishing in 5th place.

Love Island USA ‘The Reunion’ will air on Peacock on August 19th.
