The goal of the athletes that represent their country is to win the Gold Medal in whatever Sport they play in.

This year, breaking (Break Dancing) is making its debut. It’s always interesting seeing sports that you normally don’t see as a “sport”, or some like me in rugby don’t see that often. But if you want to catch the Olympics on television. Here is how you can do so.

Every event can be seen on the NBC Universal family of networks which includes NBC, USA Network, the Golf Channel, CNBC, and E! Plus, if you don’t have cable for whatever reason, you can also sign up for NBC’s streaming service Peacock TV.

There you can watch any sport that you may have missed, or you can watch them live. If you want to watch every Olympic sport in one sitting, tune in to “Gold Zone” here Scott Hanson, who hosts “NFL Redzone” during the NFL season.

Games started with Men’s and Women’s soccer, handball, and Rugby. Still, it’s not official until the Opening Ceremonies get underway Friday at 12:30 Central, 1:30 PM eastern 10:30 Pacific on NBC and Peacock.

What Olympic sport or sports are you looking forward to?
