Big Brother heartbreaking evictions through the years
With a new season of Big Brother set to premiere on CBS July 17 &18; what a better time to take a quick look at some evictions that pulled on our heart strings.
Big Brother Heartbreaking Evictions
First we should acknowledge that fans of Big Brother get invested in some of the houseguests’ journeys in the house. Whether it be because the houseguest draws on their inner villain or falls in love with their personality. Some evictions leave the fan and remaining houseguest flabbergasted.
Britney Haynes’ (BB12) eviction was especially heartbreaking as she thought she was in good with the Brigade Alliance. Britney was part of several meetings with the Brigade over who to target each week. Although the guys came clean with her before her eviction, the sadness in her eyes as she left the house pulled at fans’ hearts.
Kaysar Ridha (BB6) is ranked as one of the sweetest houseguests to ever play the game. After almost 14 hours in the Big Brother Pressure Cooker Comp for HOH , Kaysar gave the win to Jennifer Vasquez. Jennifer immediately turned around and broke her promise to him not to put him on the block. Kaysar was evicted.
He was brought back into the house only to be evicted again. He holds the title of having two of the saddest evictions in one season. His second eviction was on his birthday no less
Judd Daugherty (BB15) fell victim to Aaryn Gries’s plotting and scheming against him to the other houseguest. He was evicted during the double eviction. Judd became the first jury member in Big Brother history to re-enter the house.
He allowed his temper to get the best of him after losing a Veto Comp. The other houseguests took note of that evicting him.
Donny Thompson Nicest Big Brother Houseguest
Donny Thompson (BB16) can arguably be the nicest person to ever play BB. Some of his fellow houseguests thought he was too nice, making them worry about his strategic plans and plots.
Donny was especially hurt when his fellow Team America members voted to evict him.
His eviction interview with Julie Chen Moonves was especially heart wrenching when he revealed he quit his job to come play Big Brother. He won America’s Favorite Player that season.
Vanessa Rousso (BB17) was not only sad but shocking to some fans and houseguests alike; mainly because she was one of the best strategic players to ever play. Vanessa had all sides of the house confiding in her and asking for advice when they were in power. Julie asked the jury that if Vanessa was sitting in the Final 2 chairs would they have voted for her; most raised their hands saying YES.
These are just a few of the saddest, heart-wrenching evictions after 25 seasons, just some that some fans still remember.
