LIB is a reality show on Netflix. The basis of the show is to see if love is truly blind. The show just finished airing its 5th season in the fall of 2023. Zach and Bliss (LIB 4) are expecting their first child; which is a first LIB baby.

Poche is suing for ‘unlawful employment practices’, ‘unfair competition’, and ‘intentional infliction of emotional abuse’. She claims she was forced to spend time with an emotionally abusive partner.

This is not the first lawsuit brought against Love Is Blind, its production company nor its casting company. In 2023 Trans Dang sued Delirium TV and Kenitics Content for sexual assault, false imprisonment and negligence.

In 2022 the reality show was sued for inhumane working conditions.

This suit alleges Love Is Blind deprived contestants of fresh water and food.

It also alleges contestants had to work 20 hour work days for very little monetary compensation.

Renee Poche alleges her passport was seized along with her phone and driver’s license . She also states that she was not allowed to leave her hotel room without an escort from the production company.

In her lawsuit Poche claims she hit it off with fellow contestant Carter Wall. She states they became engaged but Wall came with several ‘red flags’ she noticed after their final meeting with each other.

Renee continues stating that despite several complaints made to Delirium TV about Wall’s abusive behavior on and off screen; she was forced to spend time with him. As well as claim he had a drug and alcohol problem.

It should be noted that Renee Poche lawsuit came after Delirium TV sued her for 4 million US dollars for breaking her non-disclosure agreement. After finding out that Carter and her story would not be featured on the televised version of the show, she took to her social media to explain the treatment she was subjected to.

The lawsuit was filed by lawyers Bryan Freedman and Mark Guagos.

Both of these lawyers are working closely with Bethenny Frankel ( Real Housewives Franchise) to examine working conditions of reality celebrities.

Bryan Freedman stated in a press release “These so-called reality TV contracts are, in reality, illegal. They are designed for an illegal purpose and are void as a matter of law.”

According to Freedman, both Mark Guagos and himself have hundreds of reality television celebrities as clients.
