Christina Aguilera ‘s Illness Causes Concert Cancellations
Christina Aguilera has come down with the ‘New Year’s flu’; it has caused her to cancel 2 concerts. While recuperating the singer went to her Instagram Stories and posted a story captioned “After welcoming you all to the New Year from the stage in Las Vegas, I’ve been welcomed with a New Year flu!!!”
Christina Aguilera’s Las Vegas residency started December 30 and 31. She posted to Instagram about welcoming the energy from her fans. I am sorry to share that my two shows this weekend will be rescheduled while I rest, and I cannot wait to be back on that stage in a few weeks.”
She added, “I’m incredibly proud of this show and grateful for all the support and love after opening weekend! See you soon.”
Christina Aguilera’s residency is at the Voltaire Belle de Nuit Venue located inside the Venetian Resort.
She is adamant about starting a “new, chapter ” in her life and music. Her shows will still feature Genie In A Bottle and Fighter, but a remix of her hit Beautiful . During her performance on her opening weekend she took to Instagram and posted,
We wish her a full and speedy recovery. There is nothing worse than being sick when there are things you would rather be doing. Christina Aguilera is a strong woman. I do not think she will be down too long.
