SVU 25: Where Is Detective Muncy?
In 2022, Molly Burnett began a recurring role as Detective Grace Muncy on NBC’s Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, for the show’s 24th season, before being promoted to series regular beginning with the season’s seventh episode. On May 19, 2023, it was announced that Burnett would be leaving the series after only one season.

Season 25 of SVU is right around the corner. actors of the show have been posting photos of behind the scenes.
Which is how we fans found out Kelly Giddish is returning to her role of Amanda Rollins in a limited capacity.
Let’s recap for a moment. Captain Benson needed people in her squad. Munch retired, Carisi left to be an A. D. A. and Rollins left to be a professor at Fordham. First Detective Velasco joined her unit he was with the Organized Crime unit then Muncy transferred and so did Churlish.
Churlish transferred from the Bronx SVU when the D. O. J. came into clean up. McGrath, the Chief Of Detectives, asked Benson to help out. Now Olivia has a whole new squad except she still has her number 2, Fin.
While the squad was celebrating the arrest of a large number of internet predators.
Detective Muncy work did not go unnoticed by the chief of police. After a much celebrated press conference. Detective Muncy is offered a job with Organized Crime. The next time we see Detective Muncy will be in Law & Order: Organized Crime. Hopefully she will make special appearances with SVU.
