John Legend (The Voice) Assists In Rule Change! The Voice is in its 24th season. This is the first season that Blake Sheldon is not a coach. Reba McEntire has taken over Blake’s chair. This season has seen more 4 chair turns in the blinds than any other season.

John Legend and the other coaches are finding it difficult to send such excellent talent home.
During Team Niall 3 way knockout round was one of many hard decisions to be made by the coaches.
John Legend was so impressed by contestant Lennon VanderDoess’ performance that he broke down in tears once he realized that he would not continue on The Voice.
Tuesday marked the end of the 3 way Knockout Round. Besides John Legend’s crying session over some of the contestants. Carson Daly, the long time host, told the judges
“This season we had more 4 chair turns than ever before. The contestants are getting better than ever.”
Carson continued ” So we changed the rules, something drastic – something that has never been done before.” The show ended with John Legend and the other judges facetiming some contestants who were sent home. This leaves fans to believe that some of the favorite contestants will be back.
In John Legend’s defense Gwen and Reba have shed a tear or two over some of the contestants who have been sent home.
