One of Evan Ellingson’s most remembered roles was that of “My Sister’s Keeper”. Also Evan played Jesse along with other stars including Alec Baldwin, Abigail Breslin, Jason Patric and Cameron Diaz.
Other roles included playing the son of actor David Caruso character on CSI: Miami and on the hit series “24” he played the nephew of actor Kiefer Sutherland’s character Jack Bauer. It’s been over ten years since Ellingson has been seen onscreen.
In 2009, Evan told a newspaper that “I never had the same [childhood] experience with my friends. I never had more time with them. However, my childhood was a cool one. I was busy doing the things I love.” Evan also said that
“I had no regrets because I found my passion for acting early on.”
Evan’s IMDb bio revealed that he was “discovered at a skate park and was asked to not only skate for the Vans PeeWee team, but to do a commercial for the Vans Company.” Apparently, Evan Ellingson had bigger and better things ahead, appearing in several important roles at a young age. Unfortunately, like other young actors with his talent, he fell into addiction and died at a young age.
Condolences to his parents and three brothers that he leaves behind. Rest in peace Evan Ellingson.
