Alum 90 Day Fiance’ Paul Staehle was reported as missing in Brazil by his wife Karine on August 31 via social media Instagram Stories. According to Karine, Paul went missing the night before and has not been heard from. Karine commented, “Prayers he is found safe.” Today, September 1, Karine reposted her concerns and also Messenger conversations allegedly between Paul and his mother. These were sent to a reality TV blogger, and the blogger then posted it. In the conversations, Paul reveals that he “got lost” while by himself and “f–ked up bad.” Paul also asked his mother to get in touch with friends for help and added “I need a boat to get back.”
Paul’s mother Mary tried to voice call him with no answer. Today Karine posted a video tribute to Paul with music by Kyle Hume’s “If I Would Have Known.” “If I would have known/ That you wouldn’t be here anymore/ I would have made the moments last a little longer/ Cause now I’m alone/ And you’re just a memory in my mind/ I would have given anything to say goodbye/ If I would have known/ If I would have known, oh,” Is Karine saying that she knows Paul is dead?
Karine also added in the tribute “Not all of our memories were bad. Our children loved you very much. We will never forget you or the good memories we all shared.” She is speaking in the past tense. Paul and Karine have two young sons together and their relationship has been off and on.
At one time they lived in Kentucky together, but it seemed that from the outside looking in, they just couldn’t get things right.

Karine has not confirmed or denied that Paul has died except for the tribute. Paul’s family must be worried and longing to hear what has happened to him. Paul is from Kentucky and Brazil must seem like a world away to his American family. Hopefully, all will end well as more information is learned.
