Last week, there was an incident involving some cast members of Love & Hip Hop.
On Friday there were three reality stars from the “Love & Hip Hop” franchise were arrested after a brawl with club security in Atlanta.
Police responded to a “dispute” at the lounge, When they arrived at 11:40 pm, the police observed a brawl with patrons and club security.
They immediately intervened and four patrons were arrested including Erica Mena “Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta” as well as Addie Richardson “Bambi” from the same show. The third reality star arrested from the “Love & Hip Hop: Miami” show was Rodney Shaw a.k.a. Zellswag. The incident occurred at the Lucca Lounge in Buckhead. The first officer to arrive tried talking to the persons involved in the fracas to de-escalate the situation when some of them turned on the officer.
Earlier, security asked the patrons to exit the building more than once, when they refused, and the physical melee broke out. The initial reason for the fight is not known. The police arrested and removed the group of four escorted them into the Fulton County Jail and charged all with “willful obstruction of law enforcement.”
Erica Mena was charged with additional charges “Simple Assault” and “Simple Assault Against a Police Officer.” There was a fourth person arrested but not affiliated with the “LHH” franchise.
Shaw’s partner and rapper “Saucy Santana” posted a statement on social media regarding the incident. Santana was at the lounge but left after trouble started. Santana insists that Shaw was not fighting with Mena and Richardson but was only defending them. Santana claims that Erica Mena was quite intoxicated and clearly explained that “He had got into it with the security or the authorities,” and added that “He was with his homegirls.
I was out with him and his friends… Erica was very belligerent. I don’t know, maybe she probably got too drunk, or whatever the case is. She was real wild last night.”
Santana continued to say “She (Mena) got into it with the security guards. It was like three or four big security on top of her. So, Zell was just being a man, and then his girls. He was just trying to de-escalate the situation. The people ended up tussling with Zell, and that’s how he ended up going to jail. I got the f— out of dodge because I don’t play that!
Zell knows I don’t play that.” Santana then focused the camera on Zell on the balcony and said, “I went and got my n—- out of jail,” and “Zell ain’t allowed to have no mo’ friends. Period!” Ain’t love grand?
This will probably be an expensive lesson for those arrested. Good luck in court.
