75th Emmy Award Nominees Announced
The 75th Emmy Awards show may be delayed due to the current Writer’s Guild of America strike that’s been going on for several months now.
The HBO hit “Succession” has 27 nominations for “Outstanding Drama Series” and several acting categories. Another popular HBO hit “The Last of Us” comes in second with 24 nominations.
The “White Lotus” also has multiple nominations. “Outstanding Comedy Series” will of course include “Ted Lasso” with 21 nominations and “Outstanding Actor” nomination for Jason Sudeikis.
Prime Video’s “The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel” received 14 nominations and “The Bear” on Hulu picked up 13 nominations.
Netflix’s limited series “Beef” was nominated for 13 and if you haven’t seen that one it’s a great summer surprise. Actress and comedian Ali Wong played her character perfectly. Catch it if you can.
The “Dahmer” series on Netflix received 13 nominations as well as a throwback from “The Addams Family” called “Wednesday” got the nod for 12 nominations.
Get your popcorn ready and put the children to bed. There is no exact date or month set yet but, will probably take place in November. The Screen Actors Guild may also be going on strike.
Meanwhile, “Yellowstone” was left out this year, and surprisingly “Vanderpump Rules” was nominated for the first time thanks to “Sandoval.” Stay tuned.
